Izakaya Wasa, a new concept by the owners of the popular Wasa Sushi restaurants, has opened at Irvine Spectrum Center. Izakaya Wasa is a contemporary and upscale yet casual and welcoming restaurant.

The menu focuses on traditional Japanese tapas, such as Kakuni (marinated pork belly), Diced Garlic Steak, Maui Onion Salad with Smoked Salmon, Agedashi Tofu (fried tofu), and a plentiful and delicious selection of yakitori. The menu also offers sushi and the various specialties found at other Wasa Sushi locations. We also have a generous selection of sake and Japanese beer, to satisfy the experienced sake drinker to the new customer eager for a unique and tasteful experience.
